Details:
Incumbents in this position are responsible for performing fiscal support activities requiring specialized training and experience.

Essential Job Functions:
Works closely with Engineering and Operations departments to facilitate the execution of capital projects.
Monitors all Capital Project budgets to ensure correct funding sources and that expenditure and payments are maintained in compliance with budget and contract.
Maintains Project Accounting including project set, budget transfers, and revenue recognition.
Enters purchase orders, and processes invoices related to capital projects.
Maintains capital asset records including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
Manages and monitors inter-local agreements, developers agreements, grants, loans, and all other agreements related to capital projects including cost eligibility determinations and the preparation of reimbursement request.
Prepares various month-end reports related to capital projects.
Assists in the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
Assists with daily banking transactions.
Performs other related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related course study.
Five (5) years of professional accounting work experience in a managerial role, budgeting, project financing/tracking or any related work field.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid State of North Carolina driver's license.

Comments:
Salary range: $54,967.00 - $74,739.00 Annually
